Juvenus is a new generation of skin booster based on polynucleotides, and is considered one of the discoveries in aesthetic medicine. It was first presented at the World Congress of Aesthetic Medicine in Monaco (AMWC 2022 Monaco).
Juvenus' portfolio includes two products - Medium and Strong, with polynucleotide concentrations of 20 and 25 mg / mL, respectively, the choice of which refers to the condition of the skin. One syringe contains 2 ml, which is enough to treat a certain area.
What is Juvenus used for?
- deep hydration of the skin
- strong antioxidant effect
- stimulates the growth of fibroblasts
- smoothes fine wrinkles
- correction of acne scars
- restores skin elasticity and radiance
What are polynucleotides?
A polynucleotide is a biopolymer formed by a long linear series of nucleotides. What makes hyaluronic acid superior is its more expressive ability to bind water. Polynucleotides show a high capacity to bind to water, increasing their volume up to 1000 times. This fills the intradermal deficiencies and makes the skin smooth and hydrated.
Polynucleotides have antioxidant activity. Their double-stranded structure has the ability to trap and inactivate free radicals, which can damage cellular DNA and lead to cellular aging.
Strong hydration and antioxidant protection create an optimal physiological environment for the growth of fibroblasts, which restore skin elasticity.
How is the procedure with Juvenus done?
Juvenus can be applied to the skin of the face, neck, décolleté and back of the hands. The skin is pre-anesthetized with lidocaine in the form of a cream. The injection of the product is carried out with a thin needle, in small deposits, deep in the reticular dermis. The procedure is associated with minimal discomfort. Then apply epithelial cream and apply a moderate massage. It takes between 1-3 procedures, which are applied every 4 weeks. The effect is present after the first procedure.

Post-treatment care
Immediately after the procedure, redness of the skin can be observed, which disappears within an hour. Slight swelling is possible in the treated area, which takes 1-2 days to absorb. As with any injection procedure, polynucleotide mesotherapy may cause bruising that is transient and disappears within a few days. Makeup can be applied after the procedure. On the recommendation of your doctor, you can apply a light massage in the following days.

FAQ
How many procedures with Juvenus are needed?
The number of procedures depends on the condition of the skin and the desired results. In our clinic we usually perform between 1 and 3 procedures at intervals of about 4 weeks.
Why should Juvenus be injected deeper than standard mesotherapy?
The polynucleotides in this skin booster have a much stronger affinity for water, which allows them to increase their molecular weight up to 1000 times. Deep injection is necessary to avoid the risk of lumps and bumps on the skin.
When is the best time for mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a procedure that can be performed at any time of the year. However, it is most often done before and after the summer - in one case to hydrate the skin in advance, and in the other - to restore the losses resulting from prolonged sun exposure.
Patient reviews for Juvenus
I have been keeping my skin hydrated with mesotherapy for several years. I'm happy with the skin boosters I used, but I decided to try Juvenus medium. In my opinion, the effect was visible in the next few days. I would try again.
Iva, 36, Sofia
I really like to visit solariums and expose myself to the sun. However, this leaves its mark on my skin, which becomes dry and dehydrated. That's why I always do a short course of mesotherapy after a long summer.
