Crow's feet. Removal of wrinkles around the eyes with botulinum toxin (Botox).
Crow's feet are called wrinkles that form on the skin around the eyes. They are one of the first facial wrinkles that appear on the human face. The time of their appearance and depth depend on the type of skin, exposure to sunlight, the strength of the eye muscle and more. Initially, these wrinkles are dynamic and are visible only when the muscle is contracted, after which they disappear when it relaxes. Over time, they become static, which are also present at rest. Insufficient hydration, excessive exposure to sunlight and solariums without adequate sun protection are factors that accelerate this process.
The skin around the eyes is very delicate and needs complex care. A key role in the maintenance of this area is played by cosmetics - the need is the use of adequate sunscreen, day and night eye cream, which are tailored to the skin type. For intensive hydration are used special masks with hyaluronic acid. Rejuvenation of the eye area may require application of hyaluronic acid fillers and mesotherapy.
One of the main indications for placing Botox in the area around the eyes is to raise the eyebrow and the upper eyelid, respectively. With the right technique, a lift of 1.5-2 mm can be ensured, thus achieving a fresher and more relaxed look.

How is the procedure for applying Botox to smooth wrinkles around crow's feet done
The area is pre-cleaned. Your doctor will make you smile broadly. In this way you will be able to assess the projection and strength of your eye muscles. Then, with the help of a pencil, you will be given several points where botulinum toxin will be injected using a fine needle. The skin in this area is very thin and tender, which makes the procedure absolutely painless. If desired by the patient, the area can be pre-smeared with lidocaine cream for 10-15 minutes. The area is then gently cleaned with micellar water. The procedure takes 10-20 minutes and the effect lasts between 4 and 7 months.
In the next 3-4 hours you should not lie down and bend over. During the day, avoid sports and massage in the treated area, do not drink alcohol and do not clean the area with alcohol or products containing alcohol. The area around the eyes is richly supplied with blood, which is why small bruises sometimes form. They can be easily masked with makeup. You can immediately return to your daily tasks. Avoid saunas, steam baths and other heat treatments for the next few days. The effect will begin to appear on day 3-4, when you will see that the wrinkles around the eyes are reduced. Follow-up of the results of the procedure is done every 10-14 days. If there is still movement in the area and correction is needed, it is done at the expense of the clinic.
