Superficial wrinkles are one of the first signs of photodamage and aging skin. Over time, the amount of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the dermis decreases. The skin becomes drier, pigments in places, loses its elasticity and turgor. These processes occur even earlier due to prolonged exposure to tanning beds and intense sunlight without adequate sun protection. Then the first wrinkles appear.
Superficial wrinkles are divided into two main groups - dynamic and static. The first group is observed only when the facial muscles move - such are angry wrinkles, wrinkles on the forehead, crow's feet and others. Their correction consists in the injection of botulinum toxin, which weakens the muscle and limits its contractions, respectively the formation of wrinkles. Gradually, dynamic wrinkles become static, which are also visible at rest. They can be corrected by injecting low-viscosity hyaluronic fillers into the dermis. In certain areas, this procedure could be combined with mesotherapy.

Superficial wrinkles are those fine lines that are due to a violation of the quality of the skin in its uppermost layers. They are filled only with very soft, low-viscosity fillers with hyaluronic acid. The area is pre-anesthetized with lidocaine cream. Then, with a series of fine needle prickings, the filler is injected in the course of the wrinkle in a small amount, after which a light massage is applied. In this way the whole area of the depression is filled. Then apply epithelial cream and sunscreen.

The procedure involves multiple injections, mainly in areas that have moderate to intense blood circulation. This poses a risk of small bruises.
