Middle part of the face (also called midface) is the area located below the lacrimal cavity and between the nose and cheekbones. With age, there is a loss of volume in deep fat deposits. This process is most pronounced in the area of the middle front floor. This loss is especially evident in active athletes and in abrupt weight loss.
The loss of volume in the middle front floor has distinctive aesthetic consequences, some of which are more visible in frontal view, and others - in profile and semi-profile. The first symptoms are associated with aggravation of the nasolabial folds, which become more distinctive. The face acquires a more tired and sickly appearance. When viewed in half profile, a sharp border is seen between the cheekbone and the middle part of the face.
Restoring the lost volume in the middle part of the face is undoubtedly one of the most beneficial procedures, because it allows the injection of material in one anatomical area to affect several neighboring ones.

Using a thin needle or cannula, the material is introduced through the skin. There is a slight stretch from the incoming product. A light massage follows, which ensures the even distribution of the filler. The procedure takes about 20-30 minutes and the effect lasts about 8-12 months.

When using a cannula, the formation of bruises and hematomas is rare. There may be a slight swelling that will go away in 2-3 days. Anesthesia is not necessary. You can feel the filler within a week. Do not massage the treated area unless specifically instructed to do so. Stop visiting solariums, saunas, steam baths in the next few days. It is important to drink more water - about 1.5-2 liters to unleash the full potential of the filler.
