Temple. Filling of depressions in the area of the temple.
The temple is probably the most neglected part of the human face. Probably the reason for this is that women who are the main contingent of this type of correction do not notice temporal atrophy, because this area is partially or completely covered by hair.
Ideally, the temporal area should be slightly convex (protruding above the level of its adjacent area - the forehead). With age, the two areas become on the same level, and subsequently the temple sags due to atrophy of the underlying fat deposits.
Sometimes the atrophic temporal area is a hereditary trait and is present even in childhood. In other cases, it is due to a sharp reduction in weight. It is then combined with a loss of volume in the middle facial floor, which leads to pronouncing the nasolabial folds.
When it is necessary to put a filler in the area of the temples
- indentation in the temporal area
- to raise the eyebrow and upper eyelid
How the procedure is done
The treatment of this area can be done with a cannula or a needle, and both techniques have their positives and indications. The second option is the more commonly used. The doctor draws the points of the prick, taking into account certain anatomical guidelines. Anesthesia is not necessary. The needle is then inserted perpendicularly through the skin in the area of the fat depots, where hyaluronic acid is introduced. There is a slight discomfort from the crucifixion, which is provoked by the incoming product. An energetic massage of the area follows. The procedure takes about 20-30 minutes and lasts between 8 and 12 months.
